Workshop on Facilitation and Consensus Decision Making

Come along and find out how to work more effectively in groups, and make meetings efficient, genuinely participatory and pleasurable!

Help us develop the collective skills we need to make Transition Town working groups dynamic and successful.

Film Night

 

A film show including The Power of Community: how Cuba survived peak oil plus Hastings/Cycling shorts - Wednesday 1st October in the Friends Meeing House in South Terrace.  All are welcome to this free event (although we will need donations to cover our costs!)

 

St Leonards Festival

 

Transition Town Hastings will be participating in the St Leonards Festival on the 19th July - drop us an email if you can help on our stall or with arrangements for the carnival.

 

 

SAREEA   Fun Environmental Workshops

 

Workshops in April were two family days when we learnt about ‘Reducing, Reusing and Recycling rubbish’ using games, and art.

May 27th Film and Drama day for older children, creating and filming plays ‘Save the planet in 15 minutes!’

May 28th A Family day, bug hunt, stories, art theme ‘The Green man’

 

August & October exciting workshops

  • August 5th and August 8th Caring for the woods. Art and Puppet shows. Education officer from Mallydams (RSPCA)

  • August 26th BEACH ART NO BOOKING ALL attending accompanied

  • August 29th Music & Stories in the wood

    OCTOBER  half term   MUST BE BOOKED

  • October 28th TUESDAY themes energy, food and composting Smoothie bike and Organic food treat

  • October 29th WEDNESDAY for those 8-10years Powermill Wood    Viking Fire Lighting & Wood Craft

  • November 13th – 20th Art Exhibition/DVD Hasting Art Forum.
