When I was in Berlin few years back found every Monday the occupiers of the town put out surplus furnture that they had no nmore use for so that any one could come round and claim it for themselv3 no cost to any one

Thas saves on costs to  landfill sites and saves every one personel costs . Should there be any thing left by the following thursday then it could be picked up by the council . There is possibility that people might use this as a excuse to dump bad fridge and other useless articles but if the arcles are next the property of the recent owners then they could charged or told to retreive the furniture but at least it should work out in the long run that there is less waist or same . There should also be more recyling dept where eg fridges can be made useable again .
